We will be making a journal made from fabric, using new and recycled fabrics, scraps, clothing labels, ephemera, sari silks, yarns, buttons, broken jewellery, found objects, you can also add paper pages too. This journal will become a place to keep all of your dont want to throw out treasures. At the end of two days you will have the cover made and at least four pages, attached into the spine of the cover, allowing you to complete the journal at home. My aim will be to help you to achieve the effects you wish to create, by sharing some of my favourite tips and tricks, and introducing lots of options. I should mention that Im a hand stitcher, but I have used the sewing machine occasionally in books. Im happy for you to work in which ever way you like.
